Andreea has more than 20 years of experience in administrative and tax practice, coordinating a large number of administrative litigations against national authorities and particularly tax litigation against the tax authority. She is also a part of the AmCham working group that actively participate in the discussions initiated by the Ministry of Public Finances regarding the New Tax Procedure Code.

Andreea is mentioned as a notable practitioner in international directories – being ranked as one of the Tax Controversy Leaders in Romania -“Highly regarded Women in Tax” and “Highly regarded in Tax Controversy” in ITR World Tax for 2021. Cristi has more than 18 years of experience in administrative and tax litigation, as well as commercial and public procurement disputes or arbitration. Cristi successfully assisted a series of important actors in various areas of expertise such as taxation, public administration, public procurement and FIDIC agreements, commercial and financial services market disputes.

In the context of diversification and further interaction with public authorities, with complex implication in private entities’ life, Cristi has successfully assisted a series of major actors in the oil & gas industry, offering complex services in taxation, public administration and competition issues.

Dragoș has a career spanning over 25 years in taxation, during which he has held positions in both the private and public sectors. His expertise encompasses all areas of taxation, with a particular focus on international taxation, direct taxes, and tax litigation. As a Tax Partner at KPMG Romania for more than 10 years, Dragos specialized in M&A and International Taxation.

In the public sector, Dragoș led the Fiscal Legislation Department and the Tax Treaties Negotiation Committee within the Ministry of Finance from 2008 to 2010. Additionally, he served as the Head of the Romanian Tax Administration in 2016.

Dragoș was also a member of the Board of Directors of The Romanian Fiscal Consultants Chamber, holding this position for the past 10 years.

Adelina is a Partner with ASP Advisors. With more than 15 years of professional experience in consultancy, litigation and arbitration, she advises and represents clients in a wide range of matters, with a particular focus on tax, customs and employment law. She has significant experience in complex litigation proceedings, including commercial, employment, administrative, public procurement and tax litigation, as well as in national arbitration proceedings.

Throughout her career, Adelina has managed complex projects for clients operating in various industries, including energy, oil and gas, agriculture and FMCG. Before joining Artenie, Secrieru & Partners, she was an attorney at law within a Big4 affiliated law firm, where she was involved in complex litigation matters across multiple areas of business. As a Partner, Adelina contributes to the strategic development of the firm and maintains direct responsibility for client relationships and strategic projects. She is also involved in coordinating the firm’s team of attorneys and in developing the internal processes that support the quality and consistency of ASP Advisors’ work.

Alexandra Șmahon is a Bachelor of Law from the University of Bucharest and holds a Master’s Degree in Financial, Banking and Insurance Law from the “Nicolae Titulescu” University. Adelina Ursateanu is a Bachelor of Law from the University of Bucharest and has been a member of the Bucharest Bar since 2018. She has also provided legal assistance to creditors within insolvency proceedings, and she acted, on behalf of creditors and debtors, during enforcement proceedings. Roxana is a Senior Associate with ASP Advisors and a member of the Bucharest Bar since 2022.
