Andreea has more than 20 years of experience in administrative and tax practice, coordinating a large number of administrative litigations against national authorities and particularly tax litigation against the tax authority. She is also a part of the AmCham working group that actively participate in the discussions initiated by the Ministry of Public Finances regarding the New Tax Procedure Code.

Andreea is mentioned as a notable practitioner in international directories – being ranked as one of the Tax Controversy Leaders in Romania -“Highly regarded Women in Tax” and “Highly regarded in Tax Controversy” in ITR World Tax for 2021. Cristi has more than 18 years of experience in administrative and tax litigation, as well as commercial and public procurement disputes or arbitration. Cristi successfully assisted a series of important actors in various areas of expertise such as taxation, public administration, public procurement and FIDIC agreements, commercial and financial services market disputes.

In the context of diversification and further interaction with public authorities, with complex implication in private entities’ life, Cristi has successfully assisted a series of major actors in the oil & gas industry, offering complex services in taxation, public administration and competition issues.

Dragoș has a career spanning over 25 years in taxation, during which he has held positions in both the private and public sectors. His expertise encompasses all areas of taxation, with a particular focus on international taxation, direct taxes, and tax litigation. As a Tax Partner at KPMG Romania for more than 10 years, Dragos specialized in M&A and International Taxation.

In the public sector, Dragoș led the Fiscal Legislation Department and the Tax Treaties Negotiation Committee within the Ministry of Finance from 2008 to 2010. Additionally, he served as the Head of the Romanian Tax Administration in 2016.

Dragoș was also a member of the Board of Directors of The Romanian Fiscal Consultants Chamber, holding this position for the past 10 years.

Madalina is a tax and finance professional with extensive experience spanning both industry and consulting services. She spent 8 years within the finance departments of multinational companies and 10 years in consulting services, advising local and multinational companies on domestic and international tax matters within the Big Four environment and as a freelancer.

Throughout her career, Madalina has coordinated significant M&A projects in Romania, delivering due diligence assignments on both buy-side and sell-side engagements. Her experience also includes transaction structuring advice, reviews of financing structures and shareholding scenarios, support with sale and purchase agreement provisions, and identification of tax optimization opportunities.

Adelina Ursateanu is a Bachelor of Law from the University of Bucharest and has been a member of the Bucharest Bar since 2018.
